What makes the blinds automatic?
Every blind includes a built-in rechargeable motor — the quiet AM25 is the standard motor on every blind (only if the factory advises that a very heavy blind needs the heavy-duty AM28 do we fit it, and we tell you first; the AM28 works with the remote only). Raise or lower it from a 6-channel remote (standard) or 16-channel remote (optional) — most rooms share one. Smart-home integration options are available on compatible configurations. Details coming soon. The included solar panel keeps the battery charged, so there's no wiring; an occasional USB-C top-up is all it may ever need.
How much do they cost?
Every project is priced individually, because the figure depends on fabric, valance style, and size — and the motor, its solar charging panel, and the hardware are always included. Your remotes and shipping appear as their own lines. Build your project online, request a free quote, and we'll confirm with our factory and send an official itemized estimate within 2 business days — blinds, control options, shipping, and applicable sales tax each on their own line. How do the remotes work?
A 6-channel remote is standard; for a room with more than 6 blinds a 16-channel remote is available, or you can split the room into zones that each have their own remote. Most rooms use one remote. Your control setup can be customized for individual blinds, groups of blinds, or multiple rooms — and a blind can have its own dedicated remote if you prefer. Remotes are itemized as control options on your quote; tell us how you'd like each room controlled when you request it.
What sizes can you make?
Widths from 26" to 90" and heights up to 130" depending on the valance style — the tallest blinds are made with the S3 Curve White valance — cut to your exact measurements. Bigger window? Contact us and we'll help with an oversized project.
Do I have to measure perfectly?
Measure carefully — the blinds are made to the dimensions you submit. Our measuring guide walks you through it, an optional AI-assisted photo check can flag an obvious mismatch (it doesn't measure your window for you), and you confirm every measurement before production starts.
How long until they arrive?
Custom blinds are made to order — most orders are produced within 2–3 weeks after you approve your estimate, then shipped to your door. Shipping is quoted per project and shown as its own line on your estimate.
What warranty comes with the blinds?
Warranty coverage is motor-only. Every blind includes a 1-year motor warranty. Want longer coverage? The optional 5-Year Extended Motor Warranty — a replacement motor for 5 years (labor not covered; shipping & handling additional) — is priced per blind on your estimate. Fabric, remote, solar panel, hardware, installation, and measurements aren't covered. Just register your blinds when they're installed.
When do I pay?
Not when you request a quote. You build your project, we send an official itemized estimate, and you review and approve it. Only then do you pay, securely through Stripe. Nothing is charged until you've confirmed exactly what we're making.
